Maurice Ampaw, Chairman Wontumi’s TV host on Movement TV and his attorney, has created a lot of controversy. One of Ghana’s most outspoken figures, Ampaw, asserted on his program that Chairman Wontumi is the only person with political influence in the Ashanti State and that Otumfuo has none.

He claimed that Otumfuo lacks a political kingdom, but Wontumi does! He makes this assertion during a dispute between Wontumi and the Ashanti king.

A disagreement between Wontumi and the Ashanti emperor is taking place when he says this. Ampaw entered the conflict in that situation by asserting that his employer was more powerful in the area than the Otumfuo.
